THE PLAYWRIGHTS PLAYGROUND – Workshops led by Hank Kimmel
ATTENTION PLAYWRIGHTS AND OTHER WRITERS!
Are you looking for a place to work out?
Are you ready to see yourself and your work more honestly?
Are you willing to be challenged in unexpected ways?
The Playwrights Playground is a ground-breaking series of workshops that are designed to explore the element of “play” in playwriting.
Through a hands-on series of playwriting exercises and drills, Hank Kimmel will lead the group through an exploration of self, character, and story. Sometimes playwrights get stuck. Sometimes they don’t know what they want to say. Sometimes they know what they want to say but are unable to say it. These workshops – taken either individually or together – will give playwrights the tools to advance both themselves and their plays. Be prepared to write and share.
